Temp Senior Scientist 

Pay Range: $48.16 - $62.78/hr

Onsite Role in Tarrytown, NY

12 Month Contract

Regeneron is seeking a highly motivated temporary scientist to join our Therapeutic Protein department and support the development and optimization of microfluidics-enabled antibody discovery workflow. This position will focus on running microfluidic chips, knowing cell biology, assay execution and ensuring workflow continuity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with microfluidic chips (either droplet, microwell, microchamber or any other designs), deep understanding of cell biology, and high content imaging analysis is a plus. 

As a Temp Scientist, a typical day might include: 

Execute and optimize cell-based assay on microfluidics (microwell and other commercial chips)

Assist with microfluidic experiments (e.g. encapsulation, operation, troubleshooting) when applicable

Perform routine assay execution, data collection, and ensure workflow stability and reproducibility

Maintain experimental records and contribute to protocol refinement

In order to be considered for this role, you must have :

PhD or MSc with 3+ relevant experience in cell biology, bioengineering or “Lab Chip” field.  Prior experience with high content imaging data analysis; Ability to write custom scripts for automatic system control and data analysis, basic scripting or coding experience (e.g. Python, MATLAB, ImageJ) for data processing. Experience working across biology-engineering interfaces. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving development environment. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset. Documents experiments, results and findings in electronic laboratory notebook; Presents work at group and department meetings; Contributes to the writing of technical reports, SOPs, and method protocols, etc.; Organizes data in high-quality presentation form (graphs, figures, tables, etc.) to support regulatory submissions and peer-reviewed publications.
