Temp Scientist - Vaccine Immune Cell

Pay Range: $78.00 - $99.76/hr

Onsite Role in Tarrytown, NY

6 Month Contract

Regeneron is seeking a Temp, Principal Scientist to join their dynamic, multidisciplinary Vaccine Immune Cell team in Vaccine Technology. The successful candidate will join a team that develops functional assays on primary immune cells and tumor cells to assess combinatory therapeutics of vaccine and Regeneron’s oncology assets (includes checkpoint inhibitors, bispecific antibodies, and costimulatory bispecific antibodies). Key responsibilities include evaluating the immunogenicity of targets to support cancer vaccine development and supporting a platform to assess potential immunogenicity risk of therapeutic proteins. 

As a Principal Scientist in Vaccine Immune Cell team, a typical day might include the following responsibilities:

• Independently develop and execute primary human immune cell functional assays
• Perform co-culture assays of immune cells and tumor cells
• In vitro cell engineering, characterization and functional assays, such as TCR engineering
• Experience in flow cytometry analysis to characterize human immune cells is a plus
• Perform data analysis, troubleshoot experiments, and record results in electronic notebook
• Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve shared project goals

To be considered for this role, you may have a PhD with 5+ years postdoctoral or industrial experience, an MS with 8+ years, or a BS with 10+ years of experience in immunology, vaccine research, cancer biology, or related field. We are seeking an individual highly skilled in flow cytometry. The successful applicant should also have >5 years experience in developing primary human cell-based in vitro/ ex vivo functional assays. This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.
