Temp Associate Director, Medical Communications (Hematology)
Pay Range: $105 - $120/hr
Onsite Role in Warren, NJ
6 Month Contract
As an Temp-Associate Director, Scientific Communications, you will drive the development and alignment our scientific communications plan for hematology therapeutic area with the Global Medical Affairs Strategy. Primary responsibilities are to develop/maintain global scientific communications platforms and lexicons, and implement our comprehensive scientific communication plans. This includes evaluating and ensuring the value, quality, and impact of all deliverables, and the alignment of medical communications.
This position is in our Warren, NJ or Sleepy Hollow, NY offices and will require you to be on-site 4 days/week.
A typical day may include the following
• Identifying and prioritizing scientific educational opportunities to reach targeted partners in an impactful manner.
• Working with the Scientific Communications Lead and Franchise Medical Affairs Director(s) to drive the quality control and endorsement of: Scientific Communication Platforms and Lexicons, Program Slides, Disease-State Education materials, Data/Publication updates, Field Medical Training and Congress materials
• Adhering to goals and ensuring compliant execution
• Participating in cross-functional discussions to align on congress deliverables
• Develop medical content for congresses and leads some of these activities.
• Assess internal and external medical education needs and develop educational activities
• Leading projects through medical review committees for approval of materials
• Ensuring medical and scientific integrity and accuracy of all assets, ensuring materials have a fair and balanced representation
• Developing centralized, organized, and searchable resource repositories for internal teams
• Working with Project Managers to supervise all materials are delivered within the allocated budget, and tracks budget spend in a systematic manner

To be considered for this position, you are required to have a PhD, MD, or PharmD. A minimum of 6+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including >4 years in Scientific Communications and Medical Affairs, is required. A strong background in hematology and/or oncology and Medical Review Committee is required.
