Temp Logistics Coordinator
Pay Range: $22.49 - $25.54/hr
Onsite Role in Rensselaer, NY
12 Month Contract
Summary: Support clinical and commercial logistical activities to ensure adequate supplies from Drug Substance to Labeled Drug Product (active and placebo).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsible for direct day-to-day interaction/coordination with transportation suppliers, internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies (compliance activities).
Facilitate as-needed coordination meetings with logistics suppliers.
Act as intial point of contact for all Drug Supply transportation needs.
Responsible for creating shipping documents and coordinating shipments with carriers.
May oversee external manufacturing logistical activity to include communicating schedules and shipping plans to CMOs.
May perform all duties related to the end-to-end execution of the Temperature Monitoring Program.
May conduct administrative activities related to shipping/temperature data document creation, collection, scanning and long-term storage.
Responsible for maintaining accurate information databases, creating inventory reports and schedules. Information is used to assess Drug Supply position.
Provide support for change controls, NOEs, EOEs, SCARs and DNFs.
Reports metrics on a weekly,monthly and as needed basis.
Perform administrative tasks, such coordinating meetings, taking minutes, etc., as needed.
Other Logistics related tasks, as deemed necessary.
Education and Experience:
Requires Associates degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Will substitute relevant work experience for educational requirement.
Experience in a GMP regulated environment preferred.
Excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Teams and Sharepoint..
Working knowledge of quality systems and software applications such as QUMAS or similar.
Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database management, graphing, and presentation software.
Problem-solving skills that incorporate creative solutions to complex problems.
Experience with Oracle ERP system preferred
Strong interpersonal skills required with an emphasis on building working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task and effectively shift priorities routinely
Ability to participate as a contributing member of a team, and at times facilitate meetings.
