12 Month Contract

Regeneron is seeking a highly skilled Temporary Contractor to support the implementation of a new Government Pricing (GP) and Medicaid rebate system. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from current processes to the future state, including system setup, data reconciliation, process optimization, and compliance with government regulations. The contractor will work closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to assess, design, and implement the new system while maintaining operational continuity.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in government pricing, system implementation, and process optimization, with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

In a Typical Day:

1. System Implementation and Process Design:

  • Lead the implementation of Regeneron’s new GP and Medicaid rebate system, ensuring alignment with the SOW deliverables.
  • Assess current GP methodologies (e.g., AMP, ASP, BP, NFAMP, FCP, 340B) and business processes to identify gaps and develop recommendations for the future state.
  • Collaborate with Vendor to harmonize Regeneron’s processes with the new system, including data setup, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document new processes, controls, and methodologies.

2. Data Reconciliation and Integrity:

  • Perform data reconciliation between legacy systems and new system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review data integrity documentation and identify potential issues, including 340B transaction review, COT assignment, and manual GP calculation processes.
  • Assist with the remediation of data discrepancies and the setup of processes for managing reallocated bundled discounts.

3. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with CMS, Department of Veterans Affairs, and other regulatory requirements during the system transition.
  • Assist in the development and customization of GP and Medicaid reporting capabilities, including variance analysis, executive summaries, and analytics enhancements.
  • Monitor and implement state price transparency regulations as part of the new system setup.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between Regeneron, Vendor, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior management and project sponsors, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement system-related business strategies.

5. Process Optimization and Training:

  • Evaluate the performance of Phase 1 processes and controls, providing recommendations for Phase 2 enhancements.
  • Assist with the automation of manual processes and the development of new Excel-based reconciliation models for Medicare Part B/D inflation rebates and other calculations.
  • Provide training and documentation to internal teams to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

To be considered,

  • 5+ years of experience in government pricing, system implementation, or a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid).
  • Strong understanding of government pricing rules, regulations, and calculations, including AMP, ASP, BP, NFAMP, FCP, and 340B.
  • Proven experience in system implementation, including data migration, reconciliation, and process design.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key trends and issues.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Familiarity with Fair Market Value (FMV) methodology and bona fide service fees is a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Model N, ICyte, or similar GP systems is highly desirable.
