Temp Resource Manager
Pay Range: $67.31 - $81.27/hr

The Temp-Resource Manager (RM) supports Global Development (GD) portfolio and resource management to proactively plan and allocate resources, identify potential data quality issues and propose solutions to drive more accurate and precise forecasts and project cycle times. This role will focused on curating, validating, and maintaining the integrity of program-level data across multiple systems and sources. To be successful, the individual will need to have an excellent understanding of pharmaceutical development. The manager will be comfortable using industry standard project planning, resource management, and reporting tools. The person will facilitate portfolio analytics, providing valuable insights into project performance and resource allocation. The RM will promote the adherence to standard processes and the delivery of high quality planning data, data quality, and forecasting of GD resources and project timelines. The role will assist in the documentation of best practices and business processes.
JOB DUTIES:
- Works with partner functions to verify that study, project, and program assumptions and data are current and ensures resource projections are accurate.
- Partners with applicable functions to update data in source systems used in resource demand forecasts
- Proven experience in data analysis and quality control.
- Perform program schedule analysis and risk analysis to determine if milestone dates are achievable. Perform “what-if” reporting analysis.
- Enters, maintains, and monitors resource capacity, resource allocation and resource forecast data for applicable partner functions and ensures accurate reflection in the resource management system/tool
- Proactively identifies and communicates resource related gaps, issues and risks to partner functions based on analysis of resource data. Supports review and discussion to resolve resource and/or capacity conflicts
- Collaborates with business partners to deliver, maintain and update RM processes, guidelines, and templates to ensure business needs are addressed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Adept at managing a limited supply of resources against constantly changing portfolio
- Problem solving abilities, troubleshooting, conflict resolution, and resourcefulness
- Effective communication (clear and concise written and verbal skills), influencing, and negotiating skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to build relationships internally and externally (e.g. with supervisors, peers, partners and stakeholders)
- Experience in Microsoft Office and Power BI reporting.
- Ability to monitor, control, and update schedules for drug programs using Microsoft Project and Project Online.
- Detail oriented and capable of working independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Finance, or Engineering, and 5+ years of Biotech/Pharma/CRO expereince
- Flexible and adaptable and a refined ability to deal with ambiguity
- A self starter that demonstrates initiative as well as the abilities and behaviors to drive business forward and obtains results by proactively engaging with stakeholders across functions
- Has worked within or across various drug development functions that may include but are not required: Clinical Operations; Project / Program Management; Strategic resource and capacity planning; Business Analyst; Finance
