Temp Senior Associate Scientist (In Vivo Research - Obesity, Muscle, and Metabolism)
Pay Range: $45.30 - $55.00/hr
Onsite Role in Tarrytown, NY
6 Month Contract
Regeneron is seeking a talented and scientifically motivated temp Senior Associate Scientist to join Regeneron’s Metabolism research team. The individual will be involved in basic and translational researches aiming at identifying drug targets for metabolic diseases such as obesity and diabetes. We are looking for a candidate with experience and expertise in mouse in vivo experiments in metabolic disease area.
As an temp Senior Associate Scientist , a typical day may include the following:
Design and perform various in vivo and ex vivo experiments in mice: drug dosing, measuring body weight, serum collection, dissection, tissue collection, etc.
Analyze data, record results in electronic notebooks, and generate study reports.
Present data in group meetings
This role may be for you if:
You have strong research background in metabolic diseases, minimum 2 years of experience in animal experiments
You are self-motivated, and capable of working independently and in a team
You have good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple experiments.
You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to contribute to a collaborative research environment
You are willing to learn new experimental techniques to develop yourself as a more proficient and independent researcher
To be considered for this position, you must have a BS/MS, possess excellent hands-on skills for animal studies, and a minimum of 3 years of lab experience.
