Temp Manager, Finance
Pay Range: $52.48 - $67.05/hr

Regeneron is looking for an energetic and talented individual to join and play a key role in our Corporate Finance and G&A Finance teams. As a key member of the finance team, responsibilities of the Temp, Manager will include preparing Board presentations, monthly/quarterly finance packages, preparing quarterly forecasts, business partnering, and cost center financial management. The Temp, Manager will successfully partner with functional finance teams as well as business partners outside of finance including HR, Legal, IT, or Facilities. The ideal candidate is detailed oriented and analytical with the ability to see the bigger picture.
A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:
- Prepare Board presentations, annual budget, monthly finance package, quarterly earnings support package, and quarterly financial guidance package
- Analyze department/cost center budgets and develop quarterly reforecast numbers to maintain both the operational and financial forecast
- Update existing G&A organization cost and headcount tracking models for Senior Leaders
- Load forecast numbers into Hyperion and review for accuracy
- Update and improve the existing excel models that are leveraged for preparing corporate finance deliverables and for performing financial analysis
- Forecast certain key inputs that include people expense, stock-based compensation expense, royalty income, amortization resulting from transactions, fully diluted share count, and free cash flow
- Partner with key functional finance team members to gather forecast vs forecast and actual vs forecast variances
- Partner with accounting team to update the models to correctly reflect the quarterly actuals and to align on quarterly Non-GAAP adjustments, accounting treatments of business transactions, and collaborations
- Partner with tax team to prepare quarterly legal entity financials that are used for forecasting effective tax rate
- Partner with treasury team to prepare cash flow statements and to forecast activities related to stock options, restricted stocks and share buybacks
- Prepare ad hoc financial materials for presentations to the Leadership Team and to the Board of Directors

- Are proactive and analytical thinker with the ability to think outside the box and be adept at identifying areas for process improvement
This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is required; MBA/CPA/CFA is desirable; 7-10+ years of relevant financial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus. Experience in building integrated financial statements that can be leveraged for budgeting and strategic analysis is preferred. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and experience with financial systems, preferably Hyperion a plus. Biotech/Pharma industry strongly preferred but not required.
