Position - Temp - Associate Scientist (Peptide Discovery)
Pay Range - $38.55/hr - $51.57/hr
Location - Los Angeles, CA
Duration - 6 Months

We are seeking an enthusiastic Temp- Associate Scientist to support the screening and lead characterization efforts of the Peptide Discovery group. We are focused on identifying cyclic peptide binders to a wide variety of protein targets with high impact on areas of human disease.

As a Temp- Associate Scientist in the Peptide Discovery Group, a typical day may include the following:

Planning and conducting screens to discover cyclic peptide ligands against targets

Designing and performing biological assays to profile peptide performance

Maintaining the laboratory and laboratory equipment as needed

Analyzing experimental data

To be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS in chemical biology, biochemistry, or a related field and 0-2+ years of relevant research experience. Must have hands-on experience in light microscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, ELISA, and pipetting. Must have experience analyzing data.
