Temp Manager, Medical Information
Pay Range: $60 - $80/hr
Onsite Role in Sleepy Hollow, NY
12 Month Contract
Provide product and medical communication expertise to external healthcare professionals, patients and internal colleagues. Develop and maintain audience appropriate standard medical response documents, product dossiers, scientific Q&As and provides scientific/medical review of promotional materials for assigned products. Execute on established medical affairs strategy, supports the Head of Medical Information with maintaining adherence to departmental/company policies, procedures and is following all applicable regulations and industry standards.
As a Manager, Medical Information, a typical day may include the following:
Coordinates with the Medical Information Product Primary in determining product standard response topics and leads in the development and maintenance of high quality medical response documents to answer unsolicited product inquiries from external healthcare professionals and patients/caregivers for assignment products
Provides product support and necessary guidance to Medical Information Call Center colleagues including inquiry management
Participates in the development and maintenance of formulary submission dossiers
Contributes to the development of and provides data QC for Medical Affairs slide desks, Scientific Q&As, Backgrounders, white papers.
Maintains core product reference literature, as well as, necessary key competitor and disease literature references
Provides scientific and medical review of product promotional materials (as necessary)
Provide on-site information to healthcare professional conference attendees through staffing of medical affairs booths for disease state awareness campaigns and medical information where appropriate for Marketed product booths, in the US and abroad

To be considered for this role, you must have a PharmD, MD, PhD and a minimum of 2 years of related experience or RPh (bachelors with significant work experience will be considered). We are seeking proficiency at searching multiple medical literature databases (PubMed, Embase, ScienceDirect, etc.), MS Word (basic/advanced), PowerPoint (Basic). Advanced understanding of medical and scientific principals relating to human health. Advanced understanding of the U.S. healthcare regulatory environment relating to medical practice and the pharmaceutical industry.
