Temp Senior Associate Scientist - T Cell Receptor Discovery

Pay Range: $40 - $47/hr

Onsite Role in Tarrytown, NY

6 Month Contract

In this role, you will support Regeneron’s T cell receptor (TCR) discovery pipeline for isolating fully human TCRs from our VelociT™ mice, through in-vitro characterization of TCRs in the early discovery stage.

A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:

• Designing and optimizing high-throughput T cell-binding and immunoassays to assess TCR specificity and function.
• Implementing assays according to established protocols as a part of high throughput TCR screens.
• Performing medium to high throughput mammalian cell binding assays and maintaining mammalian cell cultures.
• Compiling and analyzing data by Flowjo, Omiq, Excel, Spotfire, and graphic software.
• Preparing data summaries of experimental results and presenting this data to the project team.
• Keeping accurate records of experimental procedures and results.

This role requires a BS or MS degree with 0-3 years+ proven experience. Knowledge of immunology, protein biology, mammalian cell culture techniques, and hands-on bench research experience preferred. A background in in-vitro T cell characterization, such as functional and antigen-binding assays is a plus. Experience with cell-based assays, immunoassays (flow cytometry or plate reader based), and basic molecular biology techniques is also a plus. High throughput screening experience and familiarity with liquid handlers are beneficial.
