Temp Laboratory Assistant

Pay Range: $22.07 - $34.57/hr

Onsite Role in Tarrytoen, NY

12 Month Contract 

Temp Laboratory Assistant in the Protein Biochemistry Group that will be responsible for helping to support and manage laboratory operations and maintenance to facilitate a smooth and efficient laboratory workflow.

A Typical Day in the Role of Temp Lab Assistant Might Look Like:

• Follow 21 CFR Part 58 GLP guidelines and SOPs.
• Organize, catalog, and reconcile sample inventory.
• Fulfill protein/sample distribution requests.
• Maintain and organize sample distribution points.
• Auxiliary support for aliquoting workflow
• Distribute materials as needed internally to other groups/sites within Regeneron or externally to CROs
• Coordinate, organize and document shipment of material to sites.
• Receive shipments and maintain records.
• Assist with general lab organization/cleaning.
• Keep managers informed on status of inventory.
• Coordinate hazardous waste disposal.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work for on-time delivery.
• Ability to work independently.
• Address and report to supervisor any problems on day-to-day operation.
• Other miscellaneous duties that provide support to the lab.

This position requires AS or HS diploma with 0-2 years experience. The applicant should have experience in the general operations of a laboratory and posses strong interpersonal, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
