As a Temp- Director Scientific Communications you will develop and lead the development of materials in preparation of hematology-oncology launches and support assets at various stages of development. Additionally you will share responsibility for driving the Regeneron hematology-oncology congress presence. You will be expected to evaluate and ensure the value, quality, and impact of all deliverables, and alignment of medical communications with internal and external partners.
As a multifunctional, matrix organization, you will interact with colleagues within the Medical Affairs group, as well as those in patient advocacy, research & development, commercial, access & reimbursement. You will manage all interactions with vendors, ensure the scientific quality of the deliverables, and ascertain that goals are met in a timely manner.
The primary responsibilities will have a focus on hematology-oncology launches including: Lexicon, Scientific Platform, Program Slides, Disease-State Education materials, Data/Publication updates, Field Medical Training materials, Advisory Board materials, Congress Presence: Tier 1 booth design, booth material and symposia; support Tier 2 activities
A typical day may include the following:
Defining clear SciComms goals and ensures compliant execution
Participating in cross-functional discussions in order to align on congress presence and deliverables
Collaborating with the therapeutic area medical directors:
Develops medical content for congresses, symposia and advisory boards, and leads some of these activities
Assesses medical education needs and develops internal and external educational activities
Collaborating with therapeutic area medical directors and field medical, assesses and develops medical training materials for internal staff (including field medical liaisons, medical information, commercial, and sales) on products and disease related aspects
Lead contact to move projects through all review committees driving the approval of appropriate materials
Ensuring medical and scientific integrity and accuracy of all assets and ensures all materials have a fair and balanced representation
Working with Project Manager to supervise all materials are delivered within the allocated budget, and tracks budget spend in a systematic manner
Adhering to the highest ethical and compliance standards and a high bar personal ethics with a “patient first” value system

To be considered for this a PhD, MD, or PharmD with extensive expertise in hematology-oncology or immuno-oncology is required as is a minimum of 8 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 4+ years in hematology-oncology SciComms and Medical Affairs.

SciComms launch activities
Led all aspects of congress strategy/management
Vendor management
Experience with digital content development and dissemination
